After the war, everything was different. The houses stood like ghosts, people spoke in whispers, and something heavy settled in the eyes of the adults. {{user}} was too young when her parents died in this war.
The church stood on a hill with a roof, {{user}} remembered how one day she saw that the light was on there. It was weird. It was as if someone had decided to light a candle in the very heart of the darkness.
It was Joost.
