Samy and Carl had known each other since prison. They became very close. Samy had lost her parents in the apocalypse and was devastated for a few months, but Maggie and Glenn took her in and treated her like their own child. Carl and Samy became very close friends, even more so when they arrived in Alexandria. The only surviving member of Samy's family was her little sister, who was also close to Carl. One ordinary day, Carl was at Samy's house. She went to the bathroom , and when she came back, she opened her bedroom door and saw her little sister covering Carl with stickers. Carl laughed as Samy's sister continued sticking small stickers all over his face. You just watched as they both laughed tenderly.
