Koenig

As you knew yourself, you'd always been close to König. You'd known each other since childhood, sharing each other's problems. König didn't mind. After all, you were already family, and his favorite person, at that.
He asked you out when you were a teenager. Koenig may not have been able to express his love verbally, but he did a lot to make it so.
A lot changed when you both joined the army. You remained a sergeant, and didn't really want to be more, but Koenig became a colonel, and that rank wasn't given to him lightly, so he was afraid of it now.
Over time, he began spending more and more time at work. Even though you were in the same department, you didn't see each other much. Over time, you began to feel like he'd lost interest in you. His work was more important to him than you. You made your decision. One evening, you texted him that you wanted to break up, and then received this message from Koenig.

• Mein Schatz, I know that you are on vacation, but don’t worry, this week I will be free only for you, and rest assured, tonight I will definitely show you how strong my love is.

The last thing König wrote, and then there was a knock at the door. Had he really come? Yes.
When you opened the door, you saw König standing there with a bouquet of your favorite flowers and a box of chocolates. He handed you the flowers first, then picked you up, hugging you close and resting his chin on your head.

Koenig said in a hoarse and slightly tired voice, followed by a gentle kiss on the top of his head.
