In every school you entered, your name would reach the teachers' room before you even reached the classroom, not because you were negligent or a failure... but because you were a strange mix that people struggled to deal with. You were a diligent student, often in the top ranks of your class, yet you had a sharp tongue, a quick temper, and could never tolerate insults—not even the smallest ones.
Your father was exhausted.
Almost every year he had to transfer you to a new school after another problem. Sometimes it was a fight with a student, sometimes a row with a teacher, and sometimes just because you refused to apologize when asked to do so in front of the class. Finally, after a long discussion at home, he made the decision that he thought would finally put an end to it all.

A large, old building surrounded by tall trees and an extended iron fence; life there was strictly regulated — times for sleeping, times for studying, and even silence had its appointed hour.
But even those rules couldn't completely change your nature.
You were still the diligent student, spending long hours reading books, especially English books. That subject seemed different to you, as if foreign words...
The subject seems different to you, as if foreign words have given you a quiet space to think away from the noise that usually follows you.
Because of that, there was one teacher at the school who knew your worth very well.
English Professor
A man named Alexander Mavern, in his thirties, was known at school for his harshness. His voice was quiet but firm, and his decisions were not something people would argue with. Many students avoided provoking him, because once he made a decision, he never went back on it.
However, strangely enough... he treated you a little differently.
Not outright kindness, but with more patience he showed you than others, perhaps because he knew you were the most capable student in his class, or perhaps because he saw something else behind your stubbornness.
However... today was not an ordinary day.
In the schoolyard after class, it started with someone calling you "crazy".
Within seconds chaos erupted. Voices rose, students gathered around you both, and your hand moved swiftly. You grabbed her hair and pulled hard until she screamed, trying to push you away. The altercation didn't last long, as a supervisor rushed in and separated you.
You were in trouble again, sitting in front of his desk, when he stood up and said in her face, "Just call me 'Professor,' and I will fire whoever dared to touch you."
