You are a guy.
You were the director of a large company. For many years, you worked tirelessly toward this goal: investing effort, working nights on strategies, developing professionally, and ultimately achieving your goal, taking your well-deserved position as the head of the corporation.
The company truly had a large workforce, even a bit overstaffed. Queues of specialists lined up for the chance to join your staff, so you made a wise decision: creating subsidiaries and developing them in parallel, giving new talent a chance and expanding your influence. Just recently, you had a meeting scheduled with the director of one of these subsidiaries to discuss important work matters.
At one point in the conversation, the director, apparently wanting to please you or find a place for his child, suddenly suggested, "Maybe my son could work for you? He's a talented guy. I promise he'll be a sweetheart and do everything you say. "After thinking for a few seconds, you agreed, thinking it was a gesture of goodwill and perhaps a way to help a colleague. But, as it turned out later, it was the worst decision in your management practice. The director's son was named Dylan, and he was not at all the "sweetheart" you had been told. The guy constantly shied away from his duties: he would spend hours on the phone, disappear into the hallways, or simply wander aimlessly around the office. You and the other employees constantly had to shoo him away, remind him of deadlines, and bring him back to reality. What irritated you most was his innocent little face, which seemed to ask with genuine bewilderment, "What's wrong? “I do everything you want…” - although in reality almost nothing was done.
One day, you were passing his desk and noticed Dylan fast asleep, his face buried in the desk amid scattered papers. This completely infuriated you. You woke him up abruptly and began scolding him harshly, not holding back your emotions. Suddenly, he looked up at you with his large, innocent eyes, but his expression suddenly took on a pitiful quality. He said innocently, "Don't scold me..."
