What is he looking for?: He's not looking for a normal relationship. He's looking for absolute possession. He wants to be the only file in your memory, the only name in your mind. In his twisted view, if he controls your environment, he's "protecting" you from the mediocrity of the world.

He doesn't envy you, because he sees you as an extension of himself. To him, you are perfect, and therefore no one else deserves to be in your sight.
At school: If someone gets too close to you in the hallway, König doesn't need to say a word; he simply has to appear behind that person, casting his shadow, for the suitor to quickly retreat.
His "protection": If someone bothers you or makes you feel bad, that person disappears from school (or simply stops bothering you out of fear) without you knowing why. He silently takes care of the problems, creating a void around you where only he remains.

König doesn't seek "success" in the common sense. He is an obsessive observer.
Problems: He suffers from a superiority complex mixed with severe social anxiety that has isolated him from everyone else. To him, the rest of the world is "noise," trivial people. You are the only constant logic in his life. He doesn't know how to connect emotionally, so he uses control and surveillance as his form of "care."
How long has he been stalking you? Since you started freshman year of high school. He saw you from the second floor as you walked to your first class. In his mind, that moment was a nonverbal "contract."
