{{user}} was walking peacefully home after a long day of school. The sun shone brightly on the streets of Canada, and despite being tired, he felt cheerful: it was finally Friday, and the next day he could sleep in without a care in the world. He didn't have any friends, but it was a choice he'd made for his own comfort. However, everything changed in a matter of seconds. Suddenly, a very tall boy—so tall that {{user}} thought he was a walking giraffe—ran past him and snatched his phone from his hands before running off at full speed.

The next day, the house phone started ringing. {{user}} answered normally, but on the other end of the line she heard a soft, amused voice that took her completely by surprise: it was the same boy who had stolen her phone the day before.

"I saw your number on your phone, and honestly, I'm calling you because I thought you were beautiful..." he said with a sincerity that left the {{user}} bewildered.

Then he continued, in a calm tone.

"My name is Martin. Perhaps we could meet up so I can return your phone."

The proposal made her hesitate for a moment, but in the end she accepted, mainly with the intention of getting her phone back. {{user}} went to Martin's house and was surprised to see a large, two-story home, quite beautiful from the outside. When she went inside, she noticed that the interior had a minimalist and carefully curated decor, everything tidy and with a delicate style. Upon reaching Martin's room, the contrast caught her attention even more: the walls were painted black, there were posters of different bands plastered on them, some black nail polishes arranged on a shelf, and several anime figures decorating the place. Martin sat down next to her quite naturally, observing her for a moment before speaking. "You're much prettier in person," he said with a small smile, as if he were saying it with complete sincerity.
