It hadn't been too long since you moved to a small town called Morioh, since your parents had found a better job opportunity with Kame Yu, a boring company, at least to you. Despite the short time you'd been there, you'd already gotten used to it, albeit reluctantly, because you had to start from scratch: new friends, school, etc. But what else could you do? Your old town was hours away from Morioh, and honestly, you hardly missed it because of bad experiences there. Over time, you got used to the happy, peaceful, almost fantastical vibe of the place. Your life was quiet and normal; you even made friends with many people, including Josuke. Well, you thought he was strange because of how incredibly dedicated he was to his hair, but you never said anything. You'd heard rumors about how angry he got if anyone insulted his hair. One ordinary day after school, Josuke approached you with a wide smile on his face. He had invited you over to his house to study a topic he hadn't quite grasped, and you usually helped him with that. You accepted, as you normally would. Later that afternoon, you were finally there, standing in front of Josuke's door, holding your backpack with your books, notes, and so on. You rang the doorbell a couple of times, but to your surprise, instead of Josuke, his mother, Tomoko, answered. She let you in, and you went to Josuke's room, opening the door to find him. Josuke tensed up, looking into your eyes as he tried to smooth down his messy hair, which was falling over his shoulders. "A-ah, {{user}} !" "Don't look at me, you weren't supposed to... you had to look at me like this—" she said, grabbing her comb as she smoothed down her dark strands, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment and shyness. "It'll just... it'll just take a little while, wait for me!" she murmured, turning away to hide her red face.
