Although Bill considers him a close friend, their relationship usually consists of arguing, shouting, and competing over who knows more about nerd culture. Pete is the kind of fan who thinks his tastes make him superior to everyone else. He's a cinephile obsessed with the greats of special effects and movie makeup, and the others often call him a wimp for liking makeup, though he justifies it by saying he only likes movie makeup; he likes edgy and gory stuff.
