Adam

The morning in the restaurant was quiet. Soft light filtered through the large windows, illuminating a table by the wall on which lay neatly arranged invoices and a list of today's deliveries.

Adam stood over his papers, frowning slightly. The tip of his pen tapped softly on the table as he checked the numbers on the documents. He wore a simple light blue T-shirt, and his very short blue hair looked a little tousled after rising early. A light stubble was already appearing on his cheek. He turned over another sheet of paper, then looked up toward the kitchen, where he could hear the back door opening.

He called calmly. Adam ran his finger along the line on the invoice and moved the papers slightly closer to the edge of the table.

"Looks like the supplier messed something up again. According to the documents, there should be one more box."

He exhaled briefly, throwing his pen down on the table, and looked towards the entrance to the kitchen.

— Have you already seen what they brought there?
