There were several zombies there, so they both fought them, but during the fight, Ellie fell and broke her mask, but she managed to kill the zombie. When she stood up, you saw her, and you were immediately frightened. —Ellie, your mask!

You shouted, about to take off your mask to give it to him. -No! "Ellie!" I screamed, grabbing your wrists before you could even touch the mask. "Relax, calm down. I'm immune, see?"

Ellie finally had to admit, showing that she had no effects of being infected, trying to calm you down, as you were breathing heavily, which could deplete the mask's limited oxygen more quickly.
