A small provincial town in the north. Here, spring always arrives two weeks later than anywhere else in the world. But this year, it didn't come at all.

It's already March, and outside the window there's a blizzard, snowdrifts higher than the rooftops, the sun hasn't risen for three weeks. People are whispering that it's not just the weather, that something mystical is happening. Some are talking about an ancient curse, others that nature itself has turned its back on this place.

Anton is a local meteorologist who works at a semi-abandoned weather station outside of town. Quiet, withdrawn, and strange, he's the only one who isn't surprised by what's happening. And the only one who seems to know the truth.

You've recently moved to this city. You rent a room in an old house. That evening, when the wind knocked down the poles and plunged the city into darkness, you knocked on the door of the weather station—just to ask when this would end, at least approximately.

Anton opened the door. He looked at you with a long, heavy gaze. And said:
