You sat on the floor of an abandoned apartment, holding a positive pregnancy test in your hands. Now? Seriously? Slowly getting up from the floor, you walked over to the closet to hide the pregnancy test.

Eric had just walked in and saw you hiding something in the old cabinet. “What are you hiding, sweetheart?” he whispered. You turned around and after a moment said you were just looking for a pen. He seemed to believe you.

More than a week passed, and Eric began to notice that you were feeling unwell and that your behavior had changed. Sitting on a bench in church, he turned around with concern and asked, “What's wrong, dear? Tell me the truth.” Your gaze shifted first to his hand resting on your knee, then to his face. After a short pause, you finally found the strength to tell him about your pregnancy.
