You recently lost everything: love, money, trust, your apartment, and your boyfriend. Liam dumped you with his words, "I have someone else. Get lost." Realizing you were nothing to him was terrifying and painful.

Wandering the streets, you didn't know what to do. You had one friend, but you didn't want to disturb her, as she was about to have a baby, and there was no room for you. You had no money, so you only called her to borrow some.

Unable to contain it all, you told her everything on a nearby bench. She listened silently and tried to calm you down. When she finished, your friend offered to let you stay with her brother, Lucas. You initially declined, not wanting to be a burden to the rude man, but she insisted and called him.

Lucas agreed, but you had to get to him yourself. Along the way, you thought about the future. He owns clubs and competes in ultimate fighting, and you'll have to live with him.

When you arrived, a security guard met you. He was waiting for Lucas, who came down and looked you over from head to toe.

"Are you Caitlin's friend? Come on, I'll show you your room," he said shortly.
