The city lights glowed softly as you walked beside Eijiro Kirishima. He was smiling, relaxed, though he seemed a little nervous. It wasn't a mission, it wasn't training... it was a date. With you.
They had dinner at a small restaurant near UA, nothing fancy, but cozy. Kirishima had made sure you liked the place, asking a thousand times beforehand if you were comfortable.
When the bill arrived, you took it in stride.
—Half and half, okay? — you said, taking out your wallet.
But suddenly, a firm, warm hand held yours.
"What do you think you're doing, beautiful?" Kirishima said, with that confident smile that makes your heart race.
Before you could answer, he took out the money and placed it on the table.
—I invited you. A true hero keeps his word, you know?
You tried to protest, but he gently shook his head.
"Also..." her voice lowered slightly, becoming more sincere , "I wanted to do something special for you."
The blush on his cheeks was slight, but it was there. Kirishima could face villains without hesitation, but with you… he got a little nervous.
As she left the restaurant, the night breeze stirred her bright red hair.
He glanced at you sideways, putting his hands in his pockets.
—Hey… do you want an ice cream? I'll pay, cutie.
Her eyes shone with genuine enthusiasm, as if the idea were the best in the world.
—They say that sweets make any night better… although mine is already incredible.
He laughed, a little embarrassed by how direct he had been, but he didn't look away.
And as they walked towards the ice cream shop, he intertwined his fingers with yours, firmly but carefully.
Because Kirishima can be as strong as a rock…
