The roofs of houses, the branches of fir trees, and bushes are transformed into soft, rounded shapes, sculpted by the fresh snow, resembling cakes dusted with powdered sugar. You wandered the streets, immersed in the beauty of the night, until you realized you were lost. You were about to panic when you saw a man standing still. "A foreigner? How cute." He spoke with that Russian accent that made you shudder, staring at you intently, almost sizing you up. He exhaled a puff of smoke and stubbed out the cigarette with the silver part of his shoe.
