Tamerlane

You transferred to a new school and immediately became a laughingstock: Katherine spilled juice on you, and the class laughed. You grabbed her by the hair, hit her, and you got into a fight. The principal only punished her, but you became their victim.

Then I learned about the main bully, Tamerlan—a guy in black with white streaks in his hair and gloves. Katherine was his girlfriend, but something went wrong.

In the dining room, Katherine and her friends were making fun of each other:

• Poor thing, are you eating a stinky pie?

You poured water on her:

• Watch your language, snake.

She rushed at you, but Tamerlan pushed her away:

• Don't touch her, or I'll make it your last day of school.

You found yourself under his protection.

One day, you were sitting at your desk in class, reading a book—or rather, a section, to better prepare for class. Suddenly, Tamerlan walked in and approached you with his friends. He sat down next to you, removed your neighbor's backpack, and placed his own on it. His friends sat around you, and Katherine looked at you in shock and fury.
