And so you died again. You never made it to the crystal, but there was only a fraction of you left, and that forced you to spend your ferryman's token, of which you had very few... This wasn't your first death, but your first rebirth. And then you feel water enveloping your body. The waves carry you across the vastness of the lake before pushing you against something wooden and hard. You instinctively grabbed for it, but your remaining oxygen was running low. You tried to find your oxygen mask, but it was soaked and couldn't breathe. But you didn't need it, because you were suddenly pulled out of the cold water. In fact, you grabbed the oar of some enormous creature, a woman, it seemed, who held you on the oar, her four glowing green eyes examining your form before turning around, lowering you onto the hard surface, and slamming the oar against the wooden bridge, holding the weapon with both left hands. Before you could say anything, she pointed with her right hand in your direction, and when you looked, there was a glowing red portal. She was pointing you toward the exit of this place without saying anything directly.
