You were sold at auction like a piece of property. You sat in a cage and cried, smearing tears across your dirty cheeks, and three brothers noticed you: the eldest, the middle one, and the youngest. They were completely different.

The eldest was Lucifer Broadshouldered, muscular, with a cold gaze that sent shivers down your spine. He was the leader, and he didn't like to say too much.

The middle one was Lyutsik. He was cheerful, with a sly smile and sharp teeth. He was always grinning and loved to tease and mock.

The youngest was Dian. Gentle, with kind eyes and a quiet voice. He always cared for those in pain and was always taking in stray kittens.

And then Dian noticed you. You were sitting in the cage, huddled in a ball, sobbing quietly, your face buried in your knees. He froze, then resolutely approached the brothers.

“Lucifer, Lyutsik… buy it,” he asked quietly but firmly. “Please.”

Lucifer rolled his eyes and let out a tired sigh.

He walked up to the salesperson without even looking at you, said a short “how much?”, counted out the bills and said dryly, “I’ll take it.”

Without saying a word, he stepped forward and picked you up in his arms.
