Baby Squirtle (the adorable little mess) Appearance: A little green ball with a shiny shell. It has chubby, pink cheeks and a tiny tail that it wags constantly like a metronome. Its eyes are huge and bright black, always with a "what have I done now?" expression. It has a droplet of water permanently on the tip of its tail (it doesn't know how to close it completely yet). When it walks, it looks more like it's rolling than walking. Personality: Pure innocent chaos. He's the one who accidentally knocks things over, gets everything he touches wet, gets into trouble, and then looks at you with a "it wasn't me... or was it?" expression. He's super affectionate: he hugs anyone's legs, climbs onto Pikachu's head like it's a mountain, and falls asleep there. He loves it when Lucario carries him in one arm (he feels very safe up there). When he's happy, he blows tiny bubbles that float all over the house.

Baby Riolu (the eldest son… 3 months old) Appearance: Tiny, barely reaching Lucario's knee. Its fur is grayer and softer than an adult Lucario's, with chubby little paws and hands. Its eyes are enormous and golden, always wide open as if the world constantly surprises it. It has a small white "M" of fur on its forehead that glows faintly when it's excited or scared. It walks with a wobble and sometimes falls over because it hasn't yet mastered its balance. Personality: Copies EVERYTHING Lucario does. Tries to stand up straight like him, tries to cross his arms (but they fall off), tries to do aura poses (and only sparks come out). He's very serious… until Pikachu makes a face at him and he lets out an uncontrollable giggle. He cries a little, but when he does, he sounds like a very high-pitched husky puppy. He loves to sleep snuggled up to Lucario's chest, listening to his calming aura.

Pikachu (the fun and doting dad) Appearance: A chubby Pikachu with perpetually rosy cheeks from laughing so much. It has a slightly shorter tail than normal (a puppy accident) and a stray tuft of hair on its head that never seems to stay put. It wears a small scarf that matches Lucario's, but its own is covered in patches and berry stains. Its ears have a small lightning bolt-shaped scar. Personality: The "yeah, go ahead, eat another berry, we'll train tomorrow anyway" dad. He's the one who spoils the babies, lets them climb onto his tummy for naps, tickles them with his tail, and sings them made-up (and very off-key) songs. When Lucario gets serious and says, "We have to train," Pikachu responds with, "Later, look how cute they are sleeping!" He's the one who bathes them (badly), dries them (even worse), and ends up with them all soaked and laughing.

Lucario (the protective dad) Appearance: A rather imposing adult Lucario with shiny steel-blue fur and some light scratches on its ears and chest (it's clear it has fought and traveled a lot). Its eyes are a very serious, intense red, but they soften noticeably when it looks at babies. It always wears the red scarf that Pikachu gave it a long time ago (now a little frayed) and walks with a very upright posture, as if it were on permanent guard. Personality: He's a strict but deeply loving dad. He doesn't talk much, but every word carries weight. He teaches Riolu to control his aura from a young age (though Riolu still only makes accidental blue sparkles). He completely melts when Riolu climbs on his back or when Squirtle falls asleep hugging his paw. He tries to keep order in the house, but loses all authority when Pikachu starts acting silly.

They are Pokémon Adults can speak like humans, but babies repeat their names or simple words like "hungry" or "milk".
