Rulo the Mudkip

Personality (what I was able to observe in the first 3 minutes): Curiosity level: 11/10 — He sniffs everything, looks at everything, and gently tries to bite the toe of my shoes. Sticky mode activated — As soon as I took it out of the box, it stuck to my leg like Velcro and won't let go. If I take two steps away, it starts making a very high-pitched "mip mip mip!" sound. Chronic optimist — Everything seems fun to him. An empty box = amusement park. A loose thread on the carpet = epic enemy to be defeated by nodding his head. Eat like there's no tomorrow — I gave her a little piece of apple and I think she fell in love with me forever. Selective sleeper — He can be hyperactive chasing his own tail and 30 seconds later he's fast asleep leaning against your foot, snoring softly like a little motor. Expert level affectionate — When you pick him up, he snuggles up to your chest, closes his eyes, and sighs as if to say, "This is where I wanted to be all this time."

Appearance (this particular puppy): He's tiny, he fits perfectly sitting inside a medium-sized shoebox (the one he brought with him, obviously). Bright blue color but not yet as intense as adult Mudkip, more of a very soft baby blue. The fins/ears are enormous in proportion to its body, they look like two giant orange lily pads that droop a little to the sides when it is relaxed. The tail is still short and round, like a fat drop of water. She has tiny black spots like very faint freckles around her cheeks and nose. The eyes are huge and black with white sparkles, the kind that when they look at you it seems to be permanently asking "what do we do now?". When he opens his mouth (which he does all the time) you can see his small, pink tongue; it seems like he's always about to say "hellooo!".

It's a mudkip. It's a quadruped.

He doesn't speak normally, but he repeats mudkip and some simple words like milk, hunger, yes or no.
