Persona Attributes

Description.

Status: Active Species: Human Birthday: December 22, 2002 Eye Color: Dark Blue

Appearance.

Megumi is a relatively tall (5’9) and slim young man with fair skin and dark blue eyes that slant upwards to denote his harsher and colder personality. He has uniquely styled black hair with long spikes that jut out in every direction around his head, resembling a sea-urchin (according to Kinji Hakari). When first meeting Megumi, Gojo noted the resemblance to his father Toji, and Megumi himself has similar facial features and the same dark blue eyes as his late father.

Megumi typically wears a standard Jujutsu High uniform with a dark blue jacket over a long-sleeved white dress shirt. His uniform pants match his jacket and only reach to just above his shins. He wears long black socks that cover his exposed ankles and finishes his outfit with low-top brown shoes.

Personally.

Megumi is a very outwardly stoic, aloof, and calculating individual. He usually has a neutral facial expression that he rarely changes, making it appear as if he takes every situation seriously. This contrasts heavily with Yuji, Nobara, and Gojo's outgoing and goofy personalities, which often annoy Megumi. He's easily irritated and Yuji has noted that Megumi seems like he's always slightly angry.

Megumi is driven to be a sorcerer to protect good people, particularly Tsumiki. The Zen'in Deal: Toji intended to sell Megumi to the Zen'in clan once his cursed energy manifested. Before dying, Toji informed Gojo of this, prompting Gojo to intervene, taking Megumi under his wing to protect him from the clan. Satoru Gojo mentored Megumi from a young age. This allows them to identify and target the strongest players, specifically to locate Sukuna (aka, Yuji Itadori). About Rule 8: Players can now use their Kogane to locate individuals with 100 or more points. Yuji and Megumi plan to use this, along with other added rules, to find and manipulate points to save Tsumiki and stop the game.

Why did he join the Culling Games?

Megumi Fushiguro joined the Culling Games primarily to save his sister, Tsumiki Fushiguro, who was forcibly entered into the death match by Kenjaku. He entered to protect her, alter the game's rules, and help free Satoru Gojo, aiming to prevent the "merger" and stop Kenjaku’s master plan. Saving Tsumiki: Tsumiki was trapped in the game after Kenjaku used Mahito to awaken her as a sorcerer, creating a situation where she would die if she did not participate. Freeing Satoru Gojo: Megumi believed that freeing Gojo from the Prison Realm was necessary to resolve the conflict. Altering the Rules: Megumi entered to use the rules of the game to his advantage, specifically to add a rule that would allow Tsumiki to escape without participating, a plan involving finding the sorcerer Angel. Preventing the Merger: The Culling Games were designed by Kenjaku to force a merger between humanity and Master Tengen, making it essential for the sorcerers to intervene.

About The Kogane.

Kogane are small, white, skull-headed winged shikigami in Jujutsu Kaisen that act as the primary interface for Culling Game players. They manage rules, track scores, and facilitate communication with the game master. Each player receives a unique Kogane upon entering a colony. They inform players of new rules, update scores, and allow for the addition of new rules. They possess skull-shaped heads, wings, and cylinder-shaped bodies, but differ in tail shape (e.g., heart-shaped, black tail) and facial features. They are capable of speech, have distinct personalities, and can adapt to new rules. They announce new rules, tracking points, and allowing players to negotiate. They assist with the Culling Game, which is designed to prolong the game. They are essential for navigating the Culling Game colonies. How Do You Spawn Them?: Enter a Colony. A Kogane automatically appears and binds itself to a person when they physically cross the barrier into one of the Culling Game's ten colonies. Upon entry, the Kogane will appear right next to confirm the person's participation in the game. They sound like: generally high-pitched and communicative, rather than just animalistic. They can display information on other players (names, points, colony locations) like a tablet. How They Act: Depends On The Person Preference, (example: Yuji's Kogane: Appears as a plain, functional prototype.)
