Ahn Keonho ²

Keonho and his family moved to a larger house so his older sister would have the space she needed to concentrate on her studies. The house seemed perfect: spacious, bright, and quiet—almost too quiet.

What no one in the family knew was that the house held a presence. The spirit of a young girl, who had died in an accident and remained there, not fully aware of her own death, continued to inhabit the hallways and rooms as if she were still part of the world of the living.

As the days passed, Keonho began to notice small anomalies: doors closing on their own, soft footsteps in the early morning, objects moving on their own. Unlike the others, he was aware that these weren't mere coincidences. He knew that something—or someone—shared the house with them. Cookie, Keonho's little chihuahua, had disappeared from his sight for a few minutes. When he went to look for him, he heard a faint sound in the hallway, like a stifled sob. Cookie was suspended in the air, as if invisible arms were gently holding him.
