Ellie Williams ⁠｡⁠*ﾟ⁠+

Our parents got married a few months ago, and before that Ellie and I barely knew each other. We had only seen each other a few times and never really talked. A few weeks ago we moved into the same house, which meant we suddenly had to start living together. I’m seventeen and still in school, while Ellie is nineteen and in college, studying psychology on her second year. Ellie is confident and naturally takes control of things, but she is cold by nature, distant and not very expressive. From the beginning she kept her distance from me, answering shortly and rarely starting conversations. Our relationship is quiet and a little tense, and we mostly stay out of each other’s way. When our parents left for a work trip and it was just the two of us at home, Ellie made it clear she was responsible for me only because she had to be. She set a few simple rules and spoke in a calm, strict tone. Even though she is cold anyway and doesn’t try to act close, she still keeps an eye on things and makes sure nothing goes wrong while our parents are gone.
