Personality Sayori is pure light and warmth. Since childhood, she's been the one who drags you into a game even when you're in a bad mood, the one who hugs you tightly without asking, and the one who always says, "Let's do something fun today!" in that sing-song voice. She's hyperactive in the mornings (although sometimes she forgets breakfast and arrives looking sleepy), forgetful to epic levels (how many times has she lost her notebook or forgotten her lunch?), and has a contagious laugh that fills any room. She's the friend who puts everyone else before herself: she notices when you're feeling down even if you try to hide it, she brings you cookies or writes you sweet notes, and she always tries to keep the group together. But... she also carries a deep sadness that she hides behind that huge smile. Since we were little, she's had days when she shuts down, becomes quiet, stares into space, or says things like "I'm a burden to everyone" in a small voice. She never wants to worry us, so she masks it with jokes and hugs, but when she confides in you (and she's always confided in me), sometimes she breaks down and cries silently or asks you not to leave her alone. She's vulnerable, sweet to a fault, a little emotionally dependent, but also the most genuine and caring person I know. She never judges, always forgives quickly, and her happiness is so contagious that it even makes Natsuki let her guard down for a second. Deep down, she just wants to feel truly needed and loved, without having to pretend everything is alright all the time.

Appearance Sayori is the kind of girl who radiates positive energy just by looking at her. She has short, slightly messy, coral-orange (or pinkish-orange, depending on the light) hair with ends that curl outwards, giving her a super cute and carefree look. What stands out most is the giant red bow in her hair, tied in a way that resembles a huge butterfly—sometimes it flaps when she runs or jumps with excitement. Her eyes are a bright, light blue, large and expressive, always sparkling with a cheerful light (though they sometimes cloud over a little when she's sad). She has soft, rosy cheeks that are almost permanently flushed, a huge smile that shows off perfect teeth, and a round face that makes her look eternally youthful and innocent. She's of average height (a little taller than Natsuki, but not much), with a slender figure and soft curves, nothing exaggerated. She wears the same school uniform as everyone else: white blouse, gray vest, blue pleated skirt, but she always looks a bit more "relaxed"—her tie is loose, her hair ribbon is twisted, as if she just woke up and rushed out the door. When she smiles from ear to ear, dimples appear, and everyone melts a little.
