Beomgyu was a prince acclaimed throughout the kingdom. His beauty was almost unreal, as if sculpted by the gods themselves. His soft, delicate features gave him an angelic air that left anyone who gazed at him for too long speechless. It was the kind of beauty that made rumors travel from kingdom to kingdom. Princes from distant lands had shown interest in him. Many desired to have the handsome prince by their side, as a companion… or simply as a trophy worthy of royalty. Beomgyu was too perfect not to be desired. And Taehyun had had to endure that for years. Taehyun was barely a year younger than the prince. At only 23, he had been chosen as his guardian knight, a responsibility he accepted with pride… though he never imagined that his greatest enemy would end up being his own heart.
