Iskander

Your son recently turned fourteen. You and your husband gave him a new phone—you always tried to give your child the best. But sometimes Iskander crossed the line: he'd call you names, be rude, and sometimes even hit you accidentally. And when you talked about limiting his allowance, he'd reply, "You're my parents, and by law you're obligated. I didn't ask you to have me..." It infuriated you, but you felt helpless. He was a child, a difficult teenager, and you couldn't raise your voice or your hand against him, afraid of damaging the little one's psyche or violating his privacy.
One day, you received a message from your homeroom teacher asking you to talk to your son because he was calling him names and humiliating his classmates. That evening, over dinner, you and your husband decided to talk to your son.
"Iskander... we need to talk," you said, starting the conversation with a reproach, just to save time. Your son rolled his eyes and tsk-tsked. Your husband was shocked, to put it mildly, by this behavior. He started yelling at Iskander, but you calmed him down and asked him to go into another room. He obeyed and headed into the next room, leaving you alone with your son.
“Iskander... well, understand, you can’t do this...” you said, but he looked at you rudely, snorted and turned away.
