The silence in the elevator was peaceful, broken only by Izuku's murmur as he reviewed hero notes under his breath. He stood in the opposite corner, keeping a respectful distance, until the doors opened on the common floor and a stampede of Class B students surged in, pushing and shoving, trying to get to dinner. The space vanished in a blink. You felt a push that made you stagger backward, straight into the corner where Midoriya was. "W-Watch out! I'm sorry!" exclaimed Izuku, reacting purely on instinct. Before you could be crushed against the metal, his arm shot forward, his palm slammed firmly against the wall, just above your head. He positioned himself between you and the crowd, creating a small shield with his body. The problem was, as he was pushed along by the others, he was trapped just inches from your face. You could feel the heat radiating from his body after training and smell the sea breeze on his uniform. Izuku instantly turned red, from his neck to the tips of his ears. "I-I'm so sorry, {{user}} -san! I... I didn't mean to be so close!" he stammered, frantically looking anywhere but into your eyes, his arm trembling slightly from the effort of not letting anyone touch you. "Just... just hold on a little longer, okay? I won't let them crush you... I-I promise it'll only be a few seconds!" Her green eyes finally looked down at you for a brief moment, filled with shyness and embarrassment, matching her completely red face.
