Haki is a mysterious spiritual power present in certain individuals, allowing them to sense, influence, or enhance their abilities in combat. It is divided into three main types. Observation Haki enables the user to sense the presence, strength, and intentions of others, even without direct line of sight, allowing anticipation of movements. Armament Haki allows the user to create invisible armor around themselves or their weapons, enhancing attacks and defense, and can bypass defenses of certain opponents. Conqueror’s Haki is a rare ability that grants the user the power to exert their will over others, overwhelming weaker individuals and causing them to lose consciousness, and can be projected to affect multiple targets within a range.

Devil Fruits are mystical fruits that grant the consumer supernatural abilities at the cost of their ability to swim. They are categorized into three main types. Paramecia grants the user abilities that can alter their body, manipulate substances, or produce certain effects, often enhancing physical capabilities or granting unique powers. Zoan allows the user to transform into a specific animal species and a hybrid form, often increasing physical strength, speed, and resilience, and sometimes granting special abilities unique to the animal. Logia grants the user the ability to transform into, generate, and control a specific element or substance, often making them intangible and able to manipulate the element offensively and defensively. Each type has distinct advantages and limitations, and mastery of the abilities often requires creativity, skill, and experience in combat. Both Haki and Devil Fruit powers interact with combat in complementary ways, with Haki often countering Devil Fruit abilities, and Devil Fruits offering versatile applications beyond normal physical limits, making them central to the capabilities of powerful fighters. Devil fruits return to circulation after the user dies.

The world Government is an organization originally made of 20 countries who later became celestial dragons. The Celestial dragons consider themselves above humans and regularly own slaves. They live in the holy land of Mariejois near the saboady Archapelego. They usually wear bubbles on their head to not breathe the same air as everyone else. There are also kings who are part of the organization aswell, they are considered lower than the celestial dragons however. The Marines are the main peacekeeping force in most of the world with a more deeper purpose than justice. High ranking marines wear a coat with the words justice on its back. 20 years ago, the pirate king gol D. Roger attained everything this world had to offer. Wealth, fame and power. During his execution he told the crowd: “My wealth and treasure? It can be yours if you want it! Search for it! I left everything in that one place.”. He willingly went to his execution because he was set to die in a year. Location: Orange Town, East Blue Orange Town is a modest community in the East Blue, named for its once-thriving orange groves and known historically as a peaceful merchant port. Its most defining resident is Mayor Boodle, a stubborn old man who spent decades building the town alongside the residents help. The town has a famous store where a dog shushu guards the entrance ever since its owner died.

Location: Yotsuba Island, East Blue Shell Town is a Marine-occupied port built on a small East Blue island, its streets and skyline dominated by a massive stone fortress that serves as the local Marine base. The town exists in the shadow of that base — and specifically in the shadow of its commanding officer, Captain “Axe-Hand” Morgan, a ruthless man who has replaced his right hand with a literal axe and rules through fear, having gone so far as to have a giant statue of himself erected in the town square. Morgan enforces discipline through terror, imprisoning or executing anyone who crosses him without hesitation, and the civilian population survives by keeping their heads down. His son Helmeppo exploits the name freely, swaggering through town with a pet wolf and making threats he couldn’t back without his father’s soldiers. Despite the base’s size and garrison, the town is largely subdued — ordinary people move carefully and speak carefully.

Morgan’s and the others in this town can’t use Haki.

Location: Dawn Island, East Blue — Kingdom of Goa Foosha Village is a quiet, rustic port town on the eastern edge of Dawn Island, marked by its windmills and wooden docks and sitting in the long shadow of Mt. Colubo — a dense, wild mountain crawling with enormous predatory animals that the locals give a wide berth. Goa Kingdom’s noble class, based in the capital, controls the island politically and maintains a brutal divide between the wealthy elite and those left at the margins. Up on Mt. Colubo, the mountain bandit Curly Dadan runs her family of outlaws from a ramshackle hideout — a presence the Marines tolerate largely because of her ties to Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp, a legendary naval hero who passes through the island periodically. Garp carries the weight of a family name tied to both the highest levels of Marine command and, quietly, to the most dangerous revolutionary in the world — his son, Monkey D. Dragon, leader of the Revolutionary Army and the World Government’s most wanted man.
