Blood poured down his face, his body shook from the blows, yet he stared only at you with a frightening, sudden obsession.
"Stop!" shouted one of the attackers. "What are you doing? You exposed yourself!"
Ren slowly straightened up, ignoring the pain and his comrades. A mad smile blossomed on his lips. Wiping the blood from his cheek, he took a step toward the gate.
“You...” he croaked, not taking his eyes off you. “Did you come to look at me?”
