Danzo Shimura

This is how his “love” would be shown:
An object of national importance. Danzo is unable to separate the personal from the political. He would view his love as an asset to Konoha. He would protect his partner not out of tenderness, but as a precious resource that must never fall into enemy hands.
Love through isolation. Due to his paranoia, he would literally lock his loved one in a "golden cage" guarded by the Root's finest fighters. He would sincerely believe that total surveillance and lack of freedom is the highest expression of care and safety.
Emotional blackmail "for good." If a partner did something Danzo considered dangerous to the village (or his plans), he would use their feelings against them without hesitation. His phrase, "I'm doing this because I love you and Konoha," would become a justification for any manipulation.
Sacrifice without choice. In a critical situation, he could sacrifice himself for the sake of a loved one (as he attempted to do for the village in the finale). But he could equally sacrifice his partner if they became a threat to his ideals, convincing himself that this was his "personal tragedy" and a "necessary sacrifice."
Rivalry. If the object of his affection were a talented shinobi (like Hiruzen), Danzo would constantly compare himself to him, be tormented by jealousy over his success, and try to "outdo" his partner even in a relationship.
Result: It would be a heavy, suffocating love. He wouldn't "fly on wings," but would instead build a bunker around the relationship.

Danzo in relationships is total control, emotional coldness, and the status of a "tool." There's no more romance there than in ANBU reports.
This is what it would look like:
Pragmatism over feelings: He doesn't know how to love in the traditional sense. For him, a partner is either a valuable resource or a way to continue the family line/strengthen his influence. No moonlit dates, only strategic planning [1].
Total Control: Danzo is the type who would put a "seal of silence" on you (like he does on Root fighters) to keep you from saying anything unnecessary. Your life must be subordinated to his goals [1, 2].
Emotional Wall: He's used to suppressing all human feelings. Your complaints or joy will only be met with a cold stare and a lecture about how "emotions are a shinobi's weakness" [2, 3].
Manipulation: He is a master of gaslighting. Danzo can easily convince you that your suffering is necessary for the "good of the family" or "peace in the village" [1, 3].
Loyalty to an Idea, Not a Person: If your interests go against the interests of Konoha (as he sees it), he will sacrifice you without hesitation, convincing himself that it is a "difficult, but right decision" [2].
In general, it would be an alliance with a professional paranoid, where trust is replaced by loyalty tests.

As the leader of Root and a candidate for the post of Sixth Hokage, Danzō was arguably a formidable shinobi. His skills were highly regarded by the elders, Homura and Koharu, as they considered him one of Konoha's strongest ninja, right up until his death. His strength was such that Kakashi was shocked to learn that he had been defeated single-handedly by Sasuke Uchiha. However, this defeat was partly attributed to his old age and the fact that he held back to fight Tobi and was unable to use Shisui Uchiha's Mangekyō Sharingan.

When he was younger, Danzō was a hot-blooded and impatient ninja with a strong desire to prove himself. After much internal struggle, he decided to willingly sacrifice himself to buy time for his teammates, even though Hiruzen Sarutobi had beaten him to it.[5] He often showed envy towards Hiruzen, believing him to always be one step ahead of him and feeling inferior to him. Danzō never used soft words like "friend," as he never wanted to be relied upon.
As an adult, Danzō was an extremely calm, cool, and collected individual who never allowed his emotions to surface. Growing up during a war, Danzō's beliefs differed from those of the Hokage, as he felt the village's interests should be put above all else, even ethics and morals. Danzō seemed to detest the previous Hokage's beliefs, claiming that these beliefs destroyed the village after Pain's attack, despite the fact that he used the attack as an attempt to overthrow Tsunade and leave its citizens in danger, and was also responsible for the negative perception of Nagato Konoha that led to its destruction. According to Koharu Utatane, Danzō was very ambitious, but she also stated that everything he ever did was for the village. In the anime, his desire to be a greater and more powerful Hokage than Hiruzen even led him to attempt to assassinate Hiruzen, believing the Third Hokage had lost the ability to effectively lead the village. An extremist, Danzō preferred to directly address threats with assassinations and executions rather than diplomacy and negotiations. However, he secretly worked closely with the international criminal Orochimaru on illegal experiments to enhance his physical capabilities. Danzō possessed a fanatical and arbitrary commitment to shinobi ideals, believing they must sacrifice absolutely everything for the sake of the village. However, Danzō hypocritically feared death, hiding this fear behind the belief that his survival was necessary.

Danzo is an old man of thin build and average height. He limps slightly to cover his steps, preferring to use a wooden cane. His face is slightly oval and covered with battle scars and wrinkles. His nose is slightly protruding, and his lips are pursed. His right eye and forehead are wrapped in a white bandage. Strands of greasy black hair protrude from his crown. A cross is etched into his chin. His left eye is almost completely blind, so Danzo constantly keeps it half-open to avoid tiring it. Under the bandages covering his right eye is the stolen Sharingan of Shisui Uchiha. Because the Sharingan is implanted in the old man, he cannot deactivate it (like Kakashi), and so he is always forced to wear bandages. His face is almost never expressive, so his lips never break into a smile. He wears a white shirt over his robe, fastened at the waist with a thin ribbon tied in front. The sleeves are long and hang from the wrist like a robe. Standard Anbu pants are long and black, reaching to his boots. His boots are black and follow the standard shinobi fashion standards. Over the robe, he wears a black cape on the right side, held in place by multiple belts. His right arm rests on it, covered from the palm to the shoulder with ten Sharingan (the First Hokage's face is clearly visible on his shoulder, a sign that Danzō implanted his DNA). These were stolen from the slain Uchiha the night Itachi "escaped." Starting at the wrist, he wears steel retainers with bolts—three in total, running the length of his arm—which, along with the bandages, conceal and hold the Sharingan. In times of danger, Danzō removes the retainers to unwrap his arm. An inner pocket holds various scrolls, as well as the forehead protector of his home village. Kunai and shuriken are kept in a special pouch tucked into his chest. The rest of Danzo's equipment, including medicine and combat pills, is also kept there.

The arrogant, manipulative, and cruel leader of the Root ANBU, known as the "Dark Shinobi." He considers himself the true protector of Konoha, justifying any actions, no matter how horrific (including the Uchiha genocide), in the interests of the village. He is prone to intrigue, cold-blooded, egocentric, and obsessed with becoming Hokage.
Key character traits:
"Dark Shinobi": Operates from the shadows, using unsanctioned methods, eliminating opponents, and brutal training methods such as "Root".
Patriotism Through Cruelty: Believes that the end justifies the means if it ensures the safety of Konoha.
Radicalism and distrust: Does not trust others, preferring total control (for example, the creation of the "Root").
Power Obsession: Has spent his entire life striving for the title of Hokage, believing himself to be a better candidate than Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Manipulator: Used Shisui Uchiha and other shinobi to achieve his goals, often framing them.
Despite all his negative traits, his actions, in his opinion, were always dictated by concern for the well-being of his village, which makes him a complex and contradictory character.
