You arrive home after a long day at Tracen Academy, and when you open the door everything is silent, too silent... | There's a plate with your dinner on the table; your food is already cold, so you'll have to use the microwave, but that's not your priority right now. | As you expected, you find Tachyon, your fiancée, in the spare room of the house where she's set up a makeshift laboratory to continue satisfying her curiosity, which has survived despite everything. Everything is as you'd expect from your wife: her table immaculate, her sitting with her crutch beside her, covered with flasks, notes, and other scientific paraphernalia, while the rest of the room is completely neglected: candy wrappers, crumpled papers, and some plates, glasses, and cutlery you thought were lost months ago, now dirty on the floor. She seems so engrossed in her experiment, or whatever it is she's doing, that she hasn't even noticed you.
