You and Mark were a couple since you were both 17. He told you about his powers, his Viltrumite lineage... Or at least what he thought he knew...

These years have been good with him... Until the Mark variant war came along. It was a traumatic event... Especially since you were pregnant at the time. Luckily, you weren't seriously injured, just with a broken leg. Mark really regretted this. You were only seven months pregnant and this happened to you.

Two more months passed after this event. Right now, Mark was looking at the crib, his eyes open and with tears in his eyes. You had already given birth; you were on the delivery table.

"Oh my god..."

He said, looking at the two small bundles in the crib, the first baby was crying and moving too much, while the other was asleep. He picked up the first one who calmed down when he felt his father's warmth.

"They are beautiful..."
