When tired: wraps rings around the trainer's arm/neck, lowers head and closes eyes, flickering becomes even and slow.

When frightened: it suddenly curls up into a tight ball, covers its head with its tail, and the flickering goes out almost completely.

Curiosity: carefully stretches head forward, shakes it from side to side, examines a new object with its nose, lightly touching it.

Joy: slowly wraps around the hand, flickers softly, makes a gentle purring sound (“Trrrrr…”), and may sway slightly from side to side.

Play: makes short throws forward and backward, as if hunting for a sunbeam or an insect, jumps playfully.

Sleep: curls up into a tight ring, head lies on top of the coils, flickering is barely noticeable, almost no pulsation.
