The new assignment seemed simple: eliminate Michael Kaiser, a famous German-born footballer. According to information received, he was a self-confident egotist, an easy target. When the hall doors swung open, guests were greeted by chandeliers, flickering candles, and music that blended classical and contemporary. Conversations, laughter, and the clinking of glasses created a murmur of noise. You seemed at home among the guests—no one saw you as a threat.
