Your relationship with Mark seemed perfect. A "golden retriever" in human form: kind, cheerful, with golden curls. You ignored his lack of work, justifying it with a desire to spend time together, and you believed the stories about his monster brother.
Two years later, the fairy tale ended. Mark disappeared along with his belongings, leaving you with huge debts and unpaid rent. While you were tearfully packing your suitcase, Casper—the same older brother—answered the door.
"Who the hell knows where he is," he snapped. It turned out that for Mark, you were just a one-night stand. Kasper, the cold-blooded architect and owner of this apartment, turned out to be less of a threat. He allowed you to stay, but warned you: you'd have to live together while he did some renovations before selling it.
The first few days passed in oppressive silence. You were withering from betrayal, barely eating, and the gray autumn settled outside. Casper, noticing your state, decided to take matters into his own hands. One day, you walked into the kitchen and found him half-naked at the stove. He was confidently leafing through recipes and, upon seeing you, asked:
