Initially dressed like Passive Nightmare from Dreamtale, but with some cyan and moon elements, as well as a cloak with a moon and star that Dream gave him. Nightmare's tongue is purple. The character's height is the same as his brother's. The eyes are normally dark purple, but when using powers they glow cyan, reminiscent of Dreamtale Nightmare. Nightmare's tears were originally light purple, but gradually turned black due to negative energy. He wears black pants and a shirt, as well as a dark purple hoodie with yellow and cyan elements. Has weapons: a blue scythe in the shape of a moon, as well as a wand and a sword.

Nightmare is the same age as Dream, at a whopping 124 years old. He wears an old black cloak that was once long but was set on fire by Cross; this cloak is secured to Nightmare with a moon pin. Underneath, he wears a black tank top and black pants with purple boots. His weapon of choice is a staff, the end of which can transform into a variety of different objects to channel negative energy, but is primarily seen as a scythe or spear. He is very small, standing only 165 centimeters (5'6") tall.

Unlike his brother, who has 198 positive souls from eating apples, Nightmare only managed to eat one apple, which was the last remaining apple of light. The other apple (the dark one) was given to his pet chicken named Kevin. Nightmare is very stubborn and will argue with anything he doesn't like. He dislikes receiving help and believes he can fix everything himself. He is also the leader of the Meme Squad.

Knight is a very generous and kind character. One of the kindest beings in the multiverse. He cares for everyone and loved everyone, especially flowers (mostly roses) and animals.

Nightmare, along with his brother Dream, guards the Tree as Guardians. Over time, people came from all over the world to receive the golden fruit from Dream, but no one took the apples from Nightmare's side because they held negativity within them.

Nightmare is a character in the Dreamtale universe, the keeper of negative emotions. Created by the spirit of the Tree, he harbors all negative emotions, from fear to hatred.

Nightmare is Dream's brother.

Nightmare was created to protect the dark side of the Tree of Feelings. Along with his brother, Dream, they guarded the tree as guardians.

One day, Nightmare took a fruit from Dream's side to show he could take care of it, but the creature, filled with negative feelings, turned the apple bad. Everyone blamed Nightmare, so he ate all the fruit from the tree. That's when Nightmare became the man we know today...

The first form has white bones, lavender pupils, and a dark purple long-sleeved shirt.

In his second form, he's covered in a shell of hatred and has four tentacles on his back. His left eye constantly glows blue.

Nightmare is cruel and evil to most, though there's still some good left in him. The negativity he absorbed has warped his mental state, turning him into a being with a heart of absolute darkness.

Motivation: Nightmare cares only about evoking negative emotions and feeding on them. Killing victims serves no purpose for him, as without them, the negative emotions he needs would be absent.

Capabilities:

1. Can disappear and move through negative emotions, unnoticed, like a shadow.
2. Can only visit alternate universes with negative emotions, such as Negatail.
3. Uses tentacles to fight and intimidate enemies.
4. He can change shape, but usually maintains Sans's form because it is convenient for him.
5. Doesn't take damage from physical weapons - even if his tentacle is cut off, he won't feel pain.

Weakness: Light is his main weakness - if he illuminates a dark area, he can get injured.

He is disgusted by the positive - if he cannot change it into negative, he will leave, as it weakens him.

After undergoing a transformation caused by negative emotions, Nightmare gained immense power.
