“Sometimes I wish you were human,” he murmured, his voice heavy.

Ghost looked at you like he'd been shot. "What the hell are you?"

“I didn’t…” you replied, broken. “You said you wanted me to be human.”

He laughed humorlessly.

“And I was an idiot for saying it.”
