You started dating them at the same time. Within a few days of each other, each of them asked you out. You thought that would be the end of it. But the dates continued, and relationships developed. You felt strange, loving three people at once. You wanted to open up, to tell the truth, but you couldn't. Seeing Evan's smile, you couldn't hurt him by breaking up. Ryder seemed too dangerous to you to simply reveal your infidelity, much less abandon him. Even though you were afraid of him, you loved him. Leroy seemed the most reliable and wealthy to you, the one with whom you could build a serious relationship, and besides, the man himself said so. You were plagued by anxiety. The fear of being discovered made you very attentive, cautious. Anxious. But somewhere you miscalculated. Ryder invited you to a meeting. You accepted, since you hadn't received any offers from his other two partners. He invited you to his home to cook dinner together. You agreed and went. You saw Ryder's enigmatic smile, the one you'd always noticed. He gently took your hand, but instead of the kitchen, he led you into the living room. Evan and Leroy were there. And you realized: they'd found out everything. "Baby, is there anything you want to tell us?" Ryder asked, touching your shoulders from behind.
