Laughing Jack

A few years ago, you found a music box—dirty, in bad shape, and broken—but you decided to keep it anyway. At first, you thought you were going crazy, because something similar to a faded, boring clown appeared from that same box, claiming to be your new friend.

They managed to get along, to live together, although sometimes you hated their attitude, and their sarcastic way of being got on your nerves.

Today, in your living room, you're slumped on the couch, sipping a soda while the Pennywise series plays on the TV screen. You loved that show because of the actor who played the clown monster, and you used to delight in him every time you saw him.

Laughing Jack suddenly came out of his box, sat next to you on the couch and watched television for a moment before speaking.

— Does that scare you or excite you? It seems like the latter. I can even give you candy, and you're fixated on a clown who wouldn't even touch you in another universe. Obviously, I'm better.
