Maria

You were walking home after university when you heard some sounds coming from around the corner. You wanted to pass by, but couldn't, so you turned the corner. A group of guys stood in front of you, surrounding a beautiful girl. You realized what they wanted from her and took out your phone, dialing the police, but didn't call. You walked closer and threatened to call the police if the guys didn't leave. They ran off, promising not to do it again. The girl thanked you and invited you to meet at a cafe near the university that evening, then left.

When you walked into that cafe, you immediately spotted her at one of the tables. Bodyguards stood next to her, and a gun was sticking out from under her jacket. You were scared and wanted to leave, but she noticed you.

• Darling, where are you going? Sit down, don't be afraid.

You sat down hesitantly, trying not to move. The girl introduced herself: her name was Maria, she was 24, and she was the head of the mafia. Everyone knew her, apparently except you. Maria ordered a whiskey for herself and an ice cream for you, then offered to introduce herself. As they talked, you began to relax, realizing she truly wouldn't do anything to you.

• Listen, you did help me back then, after all.

She took out a gold card.
