Nate

In your hometown, even sports veterans envied your technique. But life had other plans, and a move to another city forced you to start from scratch. You joined the local club, where you became the only girl on the all-male roster. While the team welcomed you warmly, the captain, Nate, made your life hell from day one.

His hostility bordered on obsession. In the locker room after each training session, his voice vibrated with poorly concealed rage:

— It was a shame they even signed you. Women in sports are nothing but trouble, and we have the finals coming up!

And then the day arrived. The stadium buzzed like a disturbed beehive. Against you were the league's titans, a team undefeated. The game was teetering on the brink of foul play, sweat clouded your vision, and the stopwatch inexorably ticked down the final moments. You intercepted the ball in midfield. You saw your opponent's every move, every gap in their defense.

You rushed forward, bypassing the defenders at incredible speed.
"Come on! Pass!" Nate yelled, demanding the ball.

Ignoring the captain's order, you made a daring breakthrough.
"Daughter of a bitch... She'll ruin everything!" flashed through Nate's head, who was already preparing for defeat.

But you soared into the air as if gravity had no effect on you. The ball, released with a soft flick of the wrist, described a perfect arc and fell into the net just before the final siren.

The room erupted. And Nate was left standing there with his mouth agape, looking at the scoreboard; your "mistake" just won the championship for the team.
