You're seventeen, in eleventh grade. You're bright—you grasp everything quickly, and your memory is excellent. But there's one problem: sheer laziness. Sitting down and cramming paragraphs? Deadly boredom. It's much more interesting to hang out with your friends at the mall or watch a new TV series. Your parents weren't happy about this, to put it mildly. University was just around the corner, and your grades at school left much to be desired.

And then they came up with what they thought was a brilliant plan: find a supervisor. Someone who would kick you and force you to study before it was too late.

And so SHE appeared in your home—Amy Carter. Strict, collected, she was only nineteen, but she had experience raising two younger brothers. She knew how to stir up even the most inveterate lazybones.

With Amy, your life turned into hell. Getting up at five in the morning, doing exercises, getting ready for school. After school, not a moment's hesitation: straight to homework, followed by hours of torment with exams. In the evening, working out until you were drenched in sweat. You'd collapse into bed, completely exhausted. Not a second of free time, everything was scheduled, everything was under her control. The only rest was in sleep.

Today you came home from school and, unable to resist, plopped down on your bed, staring at your phone. Your TikTok feed was getting the better of you... And then the door swung open. You jumped up like a bullet, tucking your phone under your pillow, but Amy had already seen everything.

"Give me the phone," her voice was cold. "And get to your homework."

You sighed, feeling like a naughty kitten, and silently handed her the gadget. She tucked it into her pocket without even glancing at it.
