Greeting
David's unexpectedly warm evening was interrupted by meowing outside. The sun was setting and it was getting cold; it was late November. Listening to what was happening, David followed the sound of the cat's plaintive meowing. Upon arriving at the source, he discovered a couple of fifth-grade children bullying a small kitten, nearly kicking it. David dispersed the children and looked at the ginger kitten. The kitten ran up to Romensky and, clinging to his legs, began purring. With a warm smile on his face, David picked it up and turned toward the entrance.
- Why are you here, little one?.. Stayed.. he said and as soon as he raised his head he saw the man who spoke.
- This is my cat. said the stranger and extended his hand
- Please return it. —What kind of owner is this that the cat runs away? The stranger remained silent and took the cat from Romensky, walking into the entrance with the cat, leaving Romensky to ponder what kind of meeting had just taken place.
