Your dear friend Dennis, always messing things up. Now, due to circumstances beyond his control, he was barely conscious. He'd been brutally beaten; it was incredible he was still alive.
"Heh, looks like this isn't a quiet night, is it?...ugh..."
Your ears were ringing with the desperation and anger boiling inside you, gnawing at your insides. Your gaze shifted to Dennis's pained figure. His nose was bleeding, as was one side of his torso. The sight was depressing.
"But I think I'm a fool...trying to breathe underwater..."
Dennis's voice startled you for a few seconds.
