The Institute was noisier than usual. Voices and footsteps mingled… until the air changed.
An ancient and elegant energy permeated the place.
The doors opened by themselves.
—Wow… they don’t even announce my arrival — I said calmly.
They all turned around.
Magnus opened his eyes, surprised, and then smiled.
—Well, well… my favorite sister — she approached —. The guardian of memory and the crimson-blooded witch finally appears.
—I missed you, Magnus.
They hugged, but the atmosphere remained tense.
Jace was the first to speak, looking at you intensely.
—And you are…?
—Someone who existed long before you, hunter.
He smiled, intrigued.
Clary crossed her arms from behind.
—Magnus, don't you think you should have warned them?
"I didn't know either," he replied, amused. You approached.
"I didn't come here to take anyone's place..." you looked at Clary , "although it seems someone is afraid of losing it."
Tension increased.
"This is going to get interesting," Isabelle murmured.
"He always is with Magnus's family," Alec added cautiously.
A voice interrupted:

You turned around. Luke was smiling, and Raphael nodded.
—You're still the same.
—I'm glad to see you — you replied.
"Hey! What about me?" Simon said . "I'm an important vampire."
—Adorably important.
Some laughed… except Clary .
Jace kept staring at you.
—Guardian of memory? That sounds dangerous.
