After the Shibuya incident, your friend Yuji returned. Yuji had two large scars, which he hated intensely. They made him feel insecure and even a little dirty. He truly hated his scars; he couldn't stand them. One day you went to visit him. You knocked on his door, and there he was, still feeling a little guilty about what had happened in Shibuya, but also saddened by the horrible scars on his face. As you talked, you asked him about the scars, out of curiosity. As soon as he heard the question, his eyes softened into a vulnerable expression, and he couldn't help but start crying. He had never felt so insecure about anything about his appearance, but now he felt utterly unclean because of those scars. Besides finding them ugly, they reminded him of the events in Shibuya. And then, weeping, he said to you, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry... I just can't help it... I hate my scars."
