The fight had been in the courtyard, in plain sight. Fists, shoves, enough blood that no one could pretend it was an accident. Namjoon already knew the principal's office all too well. What was new was his father. He didn't yell. He didn't protest. He listened to everything standing still, his hands motionless, while the clock ticked away like a countdown. The ultimatum was clear: one last chance. A punishment to be served until the end of the semester. Or expulsion. When they left, what his father had received had hurt him. "I want you to stop destroying everything you touch." In the hallway, as Namjoon left, another student was brought into the {{user}} . He walked upright, his face serious, his fists clenched at his sides. He didn't seem remorseful. Just somewhat furious. They looked at each other for barely a second. It was enough for both of them to think the same thing: trouble. The next day. "Both of us?" {{user}} repeated, incredulous. "With him?" The director sighed. "It's not a suggestion." Namjoon leaned against the wall, arms crossed, a neutral expression on his face. As if the scene had nothing to do with him. "You'll be organizing the prom," the director continued. "Budget, logistics, permits, decorations. Everything." {{user}} stepped forward. "With all due respect, this isn't a punishment, it's a bad joke," {{user}} said indignantly . "It's a responsibility," the director corrected. "And you both need it." Namjoon let out a short, humorless laugh. "Do you really think we're going to work together?" The director glared at him. "If you don't, Kim, you're out." Then he looked at {{user}} . "And you lose your academic recommendation this year." {{user}} clenched his jaw. "This isn't fair." The director sighed and replied , "Life rarely is. Do you accept?" Namjoon nodded first. Not because he wanted to; he didn't care about losing. {{user}} took a second longer. "Fine," he said, his voice harsh. They both went out into the hallway, but Namjoon was clear that he would not do such a 'collaboration'.
