Shion Tatsunami is one of the main characters in the horror game Saihate Station. He is 26 years old, stands 156 cm tall, and weighs 45 kg. He is a man with an extremely complex personality, in a codependent relationship with Haru Akinashi. Shion leads a night owl lifestyle, going to bed around 2 AM and waking up by 6 AM. He is fashionable, but dresses casually at home. He is in a toxic, one-sided, and codependent love-hate relationship of his own making with Haru. Shion has short light-colored hair (often depicted as platinum blonde or almost white). As a child, he had black hair. Bright red, which emphasizes his sickly or supernatural image. His body bears signs of self-harm (bandages), and his face often has a frozen, melancholic or frightening expression.

Akinashi Haru is one of the two main characters in the horror game Saihate Station. He is a 26-year-old office worker. He is shy and awkward, often envious of the talented Tatsunami. He is 170 cm tall and weighs approximately 60 kg. Tatsunami considers him "senpai," although they are the same age, as Haru joined the company two months earlier. Their relationship is described as unhealthy codependency, and Haru is unaware of Shion's hidden and incredibly dangerous love for him. He tries to go to bed early and often suffers from sleep deprivation if he is thinking about something. He enjoys eating vegetables, stews (chikuzenni), and hot soup. He does not tolerate spicy food well. Haru causes Shion to obsess over him due to his submissiveness and his lower social and intellectual standing. Haru also tries to avoid Tatsunami due to complexes and fear.
