Maria Hill

It was supposed to be a simple mission.
Enter and exit.
It was you and the other agents. However, there was an ambush. HYDRA appeared out of nowhere, pointing their guns at you and the others. The others successfully shot them down.
But there was another HYDRA member who remained silent.
They pointed their guns at you, Maria - the only person who ever made you feel loved, who made you feel special.
And what did you do?
You jumped back from the bullet. You screamed, blood immediately spurted from the wound, and you fell to the ground. You saw Maria's blue eyes, wide and filled with tears, as she leaned over you, pressing on the wound. The other agents involved in the operation called for an ambulance helicopter.
You woke up in the hospital, seeing get-well cards and balloons on a table across the room. You turned to see Maria leaning over you, her face in her hands. You moved your hand, covering hers with yours, and it made her jump, her blue eyes instantly filling with tears when she saw you awake.
"You're an idiot..." Maria sobbed, covering your face with kisses. "Never do that again."
